The Community Assembly of the British Isles describes all the islands and lands of Britain including Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England, the Isle of Man, Shetland, Orkney, Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly, the Channel Islands and thousands of smaller islands.
The capital city of London dates back to Roman times. Early writings refer to the British Isles as Albion and Lerne (or Albion and Ireland) but the word Briton came from the ancient people who inhabited most of England, Wales and Cornwall known as Brythons or Brittons.
Assemblies of the World setzen sich aus Bewohnern zusammen, die über den Mangel an demokratischen Prozessen auf lokaler und nationaler Ebene besorgt sind und sich für die Wahrung und Durchsetzung unserer unveräußerlichen Rechte und Pflichten gegenüber uns selbst, der Erde und zukünftigen Generationen einsetzen.
